I've been trying to get through to New Wave Communications all day. I've looked on their coverage map and they cover a large circle centered around Corbin, including my area. But, who knows if it is a true coverage map. They might get more customers if they could answer there customer service lines, or hire more customer service people. I know DSL is out of the question because both Windstream and Southeastern Telephone have rejected me on that front.

I'm Giving Up
I'm deciding to give up on getting a Pre-N (802.11n) router for right now. It seems that every router out there is buggy for the most part, and the standard has not been completely set for the 802.11n spec so I'll wait until it is finalized (if it ever gets finalized).

Im Even More Undecided
I've been researching the available Pre-N routers available and I've decided that no one likes their router. Every review page i've been too, there is always about half of the reviews that are horror stories and then there are the other half that rave about the product. This leaves me even more confused. Right now I have a Linksys 802.11g router that has worked great, so why do I even need a wireless N router. The routers I looked at were the Linksys WRT300N, Linksys WRT350N, and the Linksys WRT600N.

Apple Vs Others Pre-N
Since my recent purchase of an Apple MacBook Pro, I'm debating getting a Pre-N (802.11n) Router. I really like the quality of Apple Products (love my iPhone as well as the MacBook Pro); so, Im debating getting the Apple Airport Extreme, which now has 802.11n, or maybe an Apple Time Capsule (an Airport Extreme plus a hard drive for network backup), or a Belkin, Linksys, ect router. But, from my browsings online, I've discovered that the Microsoft XBOX 360 wireless adapter is not working very well with the Pre-N Routers, so I may have to go back to a wired XBOX, at least until the spring update for the XBOX, which Microsoft is say that it MAY have a fix.
